Answer: It’s Colorado Proud’s “Follow Your Fruits and Veggies” Social Media Campaign.
Philosophy designed Colorado Proud’s latest summer campaign to educate Coloradans about locally grown fruits and veggies. We created a series of videos and photos for Facebook and cultivated partnerships to build content on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. The result was an abundance of Colorado agriculture images and posts making mouths water.
The juiciest part?More Coloradans recognize and look for Colorado Proud fruit and veggies than ever before. 84% of Coloradans said they would buy Colorado fruit and veggies if they were labeled as such, up 27% from last year.
Here's how we did it:
- We armed farmers with GoPro cameras to show a "day in the life" of a farmer to nearly 2 million Coloradans (see the videos here).
- We partnered with Ralph the Rex, a budding social media sensation, for a wacky tour of Colorado's Western Slope growing region. The partnership and videos reached more than 1.5 million viewers and generated nearly 30,000 likes.
- All part of a larger campaign we managed that reached Colorado's 5.5 million citizens an estimated 10.5 times (read the full, amazing case study).
